Does anyone know how to curve the text in Pixelmator Pro? - Pixelmator Community.

I used to recommend Pixelmator. Since it's just being maintained, I haven't because I feel like it's on the verge of deprecated. I absolutely cannot recommend Pixelmator Pro or upgrade to it myself without having text on a curve. You may have lots of great new tools for artists, but that's not my use. Sat Feb 02, pm Thanks for adding clipping masks but write on a line is really a important pro feature. You can change the look of text just like any other text in your document. Previous Add curved or circular text. Next Add text on a freeform path. A free text box has two layer handles white squares and automatically resizes based on the amount of text inside it.
You can adjust the width of a free text box so any new text will jump onto a new line. A bounded text box has eight layer handles and will not resize to accommodate text.
However, bounded text boxes can be resized in any direction and can also have text align to the top, middle, or bottom of the box. To resize the text box, drag any selection handle until all the text is showing. Follow thread. Mon Aug 24, am Circular text outside the circle at the top is easy. But how do I get it outside the circle at the bottom? Flipping it vertically puts it upside down. Too many letters to do individually as well! I DO love this app though Thu Aug 08, am It's also problematic to work letter-by-letter with Arabic language coz it has to be joined in a specific way.
Sun Aug 11, am ditto Thu Oct 17, am We still do not have this feature in Pixelmator pro 1. Should have checked before buying. Update: Sound's like this feature is coming soon! Just kidding! We aren't at all that cruel and the truth is this is by no means a simple feature to do and do well.
And while we do read pretty much every request on almost every major platform and take them into account and add them to our rather extensive feature request list , we do have to prioritise things and this is where disagreements begin.
And even when we do plan to add something eventually, I prefer to say things like "we might look to add this in the future, but we also might not. But that's usually not what we actually mean. I can reveal that text on a path is now in the early stages of development so those plans have turned into some sort of action.
While these things do take time, you can join the Pixelmator Pro beta and you'll most likely be able to test this feature eventually.
